Recruitment of 179 - ASI (STENO), HC (M) & CT (DAFTRY) Vacancies Notification in BSF 2014 | Application Form
Border Security Force, BSF has released notification for the vacancies
of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer), Head Constable (Ministerial)
and Constable (Daftry). The aspiring applicants satisfying the
eligibility criteria in all respect can download their application with
the help of website www.bsf.nic.in. Other details like eligibility, age
limit, pay scale, selection process and how to apply are mentioned
below.
BSF Vacancies Detail:
1. Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer): 25
Educational Qualifications: Intermediate or Senior Secondary
School Certificate (10+2) examination. Shorthand @ 80 words per minute
in English OR in Hindi for 10 minutes.
2. Head Constable (Ministerial): 159
Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination.
Typing @ 35 words per minute in English OR @ 30 words per minute in
Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH in English / 9000 KDPH in Hindi with
average of 5 key depressions for each word on computer.
3. Constable (Daftry): 12
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
Registration Fee: Each application should be accompanied by a
crossed Bank Draft/Postal Order forRs.50/-(fifty) as examination fee in
favour of authority to whom the application is addressed, payable at
respective SBI/Post office at the location. However, the SC/ST/ Women
and Departmental (BSF) candidates are not required to submit examination
Fee.
Age Limit: Between 18 to 25 years. Upper age limit is relaxable
by five years for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, the
Scheduled Tribes and Govt Servants, three years for the Other Backward
Classes.
Selection Process:
The selection shall be held in two phases as under:-
(a) First Phase
(i) Written Examination
(b) Second Phase
(i) Physical Measurement (PST)
(ii) Short Hand Test (only for ASI (Steno)
(iii) Typing Speed Test (only for HC (Min)
(iv) Documentation (Checking of Documents)
(v) Medical Examination.
There shall be sufficient gap between two phases of the tests.

prescribed format along with photo copies of educational qualifications
should reach to the concerned recruitment center.
