Recruitment of Group `B' & Group ‘C’ Vacancies in SSC Southern Region - 2014-15 :
Staff Selection Commission (Southern Region) has released notification for the posts of Group `B' and Group ‘C’ in various offices . SSC Southern Region Vacancy details:
1. Junior Technical Assistant: 05 Qualification: Degree in Commerce or Economics or Degree in Law from a recognised University.
2. Quarantine Inspector: 01 Qualifications: i). Bachelor of Science with Zoology or Microbiology as one of the essential subjections from a recognised University or Institution. ii). Two years experience of conducting
research or experiments or measurement in a veterinary laboratory of Central or State Government or any University of Indian Council of Agricultural Research or of any autonomous body.
3. Research Assistant: 01 Qualifications: Masters Degree in relevant speciality i.e. Zoology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry.
4. Assistant Programmer: 09 Qualifications: i). Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Masters Degree in Computer Application or Computer
Science or Master of Technology with specialization in Computer Application from a recognised University ii). Two years experience of electronics data processing work including experience of actual programming.
5. Assistant Epigraphist (Dravidian Inscriptions): 02 Qualifications: i). Masters degree in Tamil/Malayalam/Telugu/Kannada with Ancient Indian History as a subject at Bachelor’s degree level from a recognised University or equivalent; or ii). Masters degree in History with Ancient Indian History as a subject and Tamil/ Malayalam/ Telugu/ Kannada as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level from a recognized university or equivalent.
6. Artist Grade-II: 01 Qualifications: i). Pass in Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognised Board. ii). Diploma of a recognised Art School or College. iii). Ability to prepare models of Zoological
objects (from live, preserved or dissected material) in clay plaster or papur Mache. iv). Ability to prepare Zoological Models in natural colour.
7. Sales Assistant: 03 Qualifications: i). Intermediate or possessing an equivalent qualification from recognised University/ Board ii). About 3 years experience of field work in a publishing House or a book-seller of
standing or in a similar organization under Central or State Government dealing with the sale and distribution of publications and other publicity Literature.
