Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Notification 2014 for 01/2015 Batch

Recruitment of Assistant Commandant Jobs Notification in Indian Coast Guard 2014-15 :

The Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union has released notification for the posts of Assistant Commandant for SC/ ST category in various branches for 01/2015 BATCH. Eligible candidates can register online through website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in and apply latest by 16th October. Other details like eligible conditions, minimum qualifications, examination fee, process of selection are mentioned below.

Indian Coast Guard Vacancy Details:

1) General Duty
2) General Duty (Pilot)

Qualifications: Bachelors degree of recognised university with minimum 55% marks in aggregate. Mathematics and Physics as subject up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education.

3) Technical branch (Mechanical and Electrical):
Qualifications: Engineering degree with 55% marks in aggregate or should have passed Sections A and B examination from the Institution of Engineers (India) in any of the discipline listed below with 55% marks.

Engineering Branch: Naval architecture or Marine or Mechanical or Mechatronics or Automotive or  Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design.

Electrical Branch: Electronics or Electrical or Instrumentation or Telecommunication or Instrumentation and Control or Power Engg. or Power Electronics or Electronics and Communication or .

Indian Coat Guard Assistant Commandant Selection Procedure:

(a) Preliminary Selection. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Preliminary Selection at given date and time which will consist of Mental Ability Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test.

(b) Final Selection. The candidates qualifying above Preliminary Selection will be called for Final Selection. The date and venue for Final Selection Board will be uploaded on Indian Coast Guard website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in The Final Selection will consist of Psychological Test, Group Testing and Interview (Personality test).

(c) Medical. All candidates recommended by Final Selection Board will undergo Medical examination at nearest Military Hospital. 

(d) PABT. GD (Pilot) candidates on qualifying FSB will be required to appear for PABT at Dehradun/Mysore AFSBs. Those already qualified PABT are to provide details of batch, Chest number and place while filling up PIQ forms during FSB.
