Northeast Frontier Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2015

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has released notification for sports persons through open advertisement against the following sports disciplines:

Eligible candidates can submit online-application form latest by 27.02.2015.

Northeast Frontier Railway Vacancy Details 

1.     Basketball: 02 
2.     Cricket: 02 
3.     Volleyball: 02 
4.     Boxing: 02 
5.     Weightlifting: 01 
6.     Aquatics: 01 

Educational Qualification:

    For appointment in Grade Pay Rs.1800 (PB-1): Matriculate or ITI or equivalent.

    For appointment in Grade Pay Rs.1900 / 2000 (PB-1): Matriculate or equivalent and 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination for Non-Technical Popular Categories.

Age Limit: As on 01/06/2015 candidates age should be 18 - 25 years.

Salary: Selected candidates will get Rs. 5200-20200 per month

Selection Procedure: Short-listed eligible candidates will be called for -

(i) Trial of sports performance.

(ii) Interview and assessment of sports achievement, educational qualification etc

Application Fee: Each application should be accompanied by a fee of Rs.100/-. The IPO should be drawn in favour of FA&CAO/NF Railway, and payable at Maligaon Post Office, Guwahati-781011.

How to Apply: 

Applications must be sent through ordinary post addressed to Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Northeast Frontier Railway HQ, Maligaon, Guwahati – 781 011 (Assam) OR dropped in the APPLICATION BOX in the Recruitment Section in the Office of CPO, NF Railway HQ, Maligaon, Guwahati (Assam) on or before 27.02.2015. (For candidates residing in Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Jammu & Kashmir, Lahaul & Spiti Districts, Pangi Sub-Division in Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Lakshadweep and abroad, the last date is 09.03.2015 by post only).

The envelope should be superscribed “RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA:: EVENT - ..............................”

with the name of the event.
