Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Jammu has released notification for the posts of Security Guard. Eligible candidates can submit online-application form latest by 09.03.2015. Further more details like qualification, processing of application are mentioned below.

RBI Vacancy Details:

Name of the Position: Security Guard

Total no. of openings: 04 Posts

Educational Qualification: 10th Std pass.

Age Limit (As on 01/02/15): 18 - 25 years

The lower and upper age limit for the post is 18 and 25 years respectively as on February 01, 2015, i.e. candidate born before 31-01-1990 and after 31-01-1997 are not eligible.

Pay & Allowances: Initial starting pay of Rs 6350/- per month, in the scale of Rs 6350-220-7230-260-8010-300-8910-400-9710-500-11710-680-13750 (20 years) + allowances as admissible from time-to-time. The total emoluments at the starting scale at the time of issue of advertisement works out to be Rs 16,215/- per month (approximately).

Selection Procedure for RBI Security Guard:  Selection will be made through written test and/ or interview of eligible candidates. The candidates found suitable will be placed in the waiting list to be prepared subject to vacancies and reservation requirements.

How to Apply: The application must be sent by ordinary post only or may be deposited in the box kept at the Reception Center of RBI’s Main Office Bldg, Rail Head Complex, Jammu 180012 on any day between 10.15 am to 5.00 pm on week days except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays in a cover super scribed “Application for the post of Security Guard”. Applications should be addressed to the Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Human Resource Management Department, Recruitment Section, Rail Head Complex, Jammu 180012.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released notification for the posts of various Managers.  Eligible candidates can submit online-application form latest by 23.03.2015. Further more details like qualification, processing of application are mentioned below. 

RBI Vacancy Details:

    1) Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha) in Grade 'A': 06 

    Qualifications (As on 01/03/15): Second class Masters degree in Hindi/ Hindi Translation, with English as one of the subjects at Bachelors degree level; OR ii). Second class Masters degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelors degree level; OR iii). Second class Masters degree in Sanskrit/ Economics/ Commerce with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelors degree level. (In lieu of a subject of Hindi at Bachelors degree level, one may have recognised Hindi qualification equivalent to a Bachelors degree); OR iv). Masters degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation, of which one must be Second class.

    Age (As on 01/03/15): 21- 30 years

    2) Manager (Technical – Civil) in Grade 'B': 02 

    Qualifications (As on 01/03/15): Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years. Aggregate Grade Point or percentage of marks where awarded would mean aggregate over the entire duration of the course.

    Age (As on 01/03/15): 21- 35 years

    3) Manager (Technical – Electrical) in Grade 'B': 02 

    Qualifications (As on 01/03/15): BE/ B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years. Aggregate Grade Point or percentage of marks where awarded would mean aggregate over the entire duration of the course.

    Age (As on 01/03/15): 21- 35 years

Application Fee & Intimation Charges: Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD category and Rs. 600/- for GEN / OBC category.

Scheme of Selection: Selection will be through Written Examination (‘WE’) and interview. The ‘WE’ will be held in the month of April/May 2015. The WE will be of 3 hours duration and carrying 100 marks to assess the candidates’ ability to undertake translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa and their knowledge of terminology in Hindi vis-à-vis English with greater emphasis on technical terms pertaining to Banking, Economics, Commerce and allied subjects and ability to express themselves in Hindi and English. The number of candidates to be called for interview will be decided by the Board. Final selection will be on the basis of performance in the WE and interview taken together.

Salary:  They will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.17,000/- to Rs.21,000/- p.m.
