1. Senior Manager (Safety): 01 Post

Qualification: Degree in Engineering (B.E./ B.Tech.) with specialization in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics with 10 years post qualification relevant experience.

2. Senior Manager (Administration): 01 Post

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with 02 years full time Regular MBA/ PG Degree/ Diploma with specialization in HRM/ IR / Personnel Management or 03 years in part time M.B.A. /PG Degree / Diploma with specialization in HRM/IR/Personnel Management.

3. Manager (Commercial): 01 Post

Qualification: Full time B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/ Production/ Electronics / Electrical.

4. Deputy Manager (Commercial): 02 Posts

Qualification: Full time B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/ Production/ Electronics / Electrical.

5. Deputy Manager (Medical)

Qualification: MBBS recognized by Medical Council of India.

6. Assistant Manager (Commercial): 04 Posts

Qualification: Full time B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/ Production/ Electronics / Electrical.

7. Management Trainee: 04 Posts

Qualification: Graduate with Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) /Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.)

Mode of Selection: Candidates will be shortlisted for calling for written test based on their performance/result/grading/ percentage as declared by the respective University. The selected candidate will undergo “On the Job training” for a period of one year which may be extended if necessary.They will be placed in a scale of Rs. 16400-3%-40500 or its equivalent as revised from time to time for one year.

Cochin Shipyard Vacancy Details:

Name of the position: Safety Assistant (on Contract Basis)

Number of Vacancies: 10

Eligibility conditions:

(i) Pass in SSLC.

(ii) One year Diploma/one year Certificate in Industrial Safety from a Government
recognised Institute or Public Sector Undertaking. 

Experience: Minimum One year training/experience in Safety in a Public Sector Undertaking or a Factory employing more than 100 workers.

Required Age: 35 years as on 01 July 2014 relaxable for 5 years for SC and ST, 3 years OBC and 10 years for PWD and Ex-Servicemen.

Registration Fee: Nil

Scale of Pay: Consolidated pay of ` 14,500/- pm and compensation for extra hours of work on week days
and on holidays limited to ` 4,500/- pm.

Contract duration: All posts above are temporary in nature and for a period of one year. The period may be extended for one more year depending upon project requirements.

Mode of Selection: Method of Selection is through a written test and Personal Interview. (Written Test-80 marks, Interview-20 marks).
