Vizag Steel Plant Vacancy Details:
Name of the position: Management Trainee
Discipline:
1. Metallurgy : 32
2. Mechanical : 28
3. Electrical : 21
Educational Qualification: Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in the disciplines of Metallurgy/ Mechanical/ Electrical with minimum 60% marks, should have qualified in GATE-2014 examination.

Age Limit: Born not earlier than 1st March 1987. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer); 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD candidates.

Application Fee:
Application & Processing fee of `150/- (Rupees One hundred and fifty only) for General and OBC 
candidates.
 Processing fee of `50/- (Rupees Fifty only) for SC, ST and PWD candidates. 
 The Fee Payment Challan / Pay-in-Slip is to be downloaded from the website after filling in the basic details.
 Fee must be deposited in “RINL-VSP Recruitment Account No. 30589461220” at any of the Core 
Banking Branches of State Bank of India (SBI) in the prescribed preprinted Challan. No other form of payment is accepted. 

Mode of Selection: The selection process will consist of Group Discussion / Interview. Eligible candidates should have qualified in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2014, which was held during the month of February 2014.
How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates who have qualified in GATE-2014 only need to apply. Application for the post of Management Trainee (Technical) in RINL-VSP shall be done online only through VSP website www.vizagsteel.com under the link “Careers”. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted.

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has invited applications for the posts of  Executive Trainee (Computer Science & Civil) posts through GATE- 2015.. PGCIL Vacancy details:

Name of the Position: Executive Trainee (Computer Science & Civil)

Educational Qualifications: Full Time B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Information Technology/ Civil Engineering with AMIE in Computer Science/ Civil Engg.

Age Limit: 28 years as on 31.12.2014

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
a) For OBC(NCL) candidates : 3 years
b) For SC/ST candidates : 5 years
c) For PwD candidates : 10 years over and above category relaxation (i.e. 10 years for a PwD candidate belonging to General category, 13 years for a PwD candidate belonging to OBC(NCL) category etc.)

Mode of Selection:
The selection process will include the Normalized Marks (Out of 100) obtained by the eligible 
candidates in the CS/ CE paper of GATE 2015, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview of the candidates who qualify in the GATE paper and are shortlisted category wise for the GD and interview.

Pay Scale:Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of INR 24900-50500 during the one-year training period. The approximate CTC* per annum are as follows:
During Training Rs. 7.78 lakhs
After Training On regularisation Rs. 13.95 lakhs

How to Apply: Application window for POWERGRID shall be open from 15th January 2015 to 27th February 2015. Candidates have to register themselves online at POWERGRID website with details of their GATE 2015 Application No., GATE 2015 Registration Number and other required information, which will be made available at CAREER section of www.powergridindia.com.
