Western Railway has released notification for the posts of sports - Handball quota. Eligible graduates can submit online application form latest by 01.06.2015. Further more details are mentioned below.

Eligibility Norms:
  • Represented the Country in the World Cup (Junior/ Senior), World Championships (Junior/Senior), Asian Games (Senior) & Commonwealth Games (Senior) OR
  • Represented the country in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior)/ Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior)/South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (Senior)/ USIC (World Railways) Championship (Senior) and obtained at least 3rd position. OR
  • Represented a State or equivalent unit in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships and obtained at least 3" Position OR
  • Represented a State in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association and obtained at least 3rd position OR Represented a University in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities and obtained at least 3" position OR
  • Represented a State or equivalent Unit in Federation Cup Championships (Senior category) and obtained 1st position.
Age Limit (As on 01/07/15): 18 - 25 years

Pay Scale: PB-1: Rs. 5200-20200/- Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

Examination Fees: Indian Postal Order for Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of Western Railway Sports Association, Mumbai which is non refundable. SC/ ST, Women, Minorities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Zorastrians {Parsis}) and economically backward classes candidates are exempted from examination fee.

How to Apply: The completed application in the prescribed format along with all relevant documents must reach "The Sr. Sports Officer, Western Railway Sports Association, Headquarter Office, Church gate, Mumbai-400020".
